About the Event

In this series, Jeffrey Yuen will focus on the  exploration, discussion and practices stemming from the shamanic origins  of Chinese medicine. Participants will gain insights into the  methodologies that became the modern practices of acupuncture, herbal  medicine, tuina and qigong, as well as other historical healing methods  that are not commonly taught in modern acupuncture schools. The series  is intended is to invite/invoke and guide participants toward an  experiential understanding of how Chinese medicine evolved through an  understanding of its shamanic origins and their beliefs in the  exploration of other realms and “realities”.
